Returning to the waves

Dear modular lovers,

This is Adriana, the proprietress (and altogether designer, developer, maker, and owner) of selestium modular. It has...been a while. The last year has mostly consisted of carework as I needed to support a dear friend going through cancer treatment. Luckily she is doing better and I can now get back to all of the varied things that I do, including with selestium modular.

My simple stand at Ginko Modular Fest. I'm already planning on how to spruce it up for the next one.

Just as I started getting back into things, I was able to present at the Ginko Modular Fest (https://www.ginkosynthese.com/ginko-modular-fest-2026) in The Hague at the beginning of March. I was glad to meet some wonderful people there, hear some amazing music, and also sell a few modules. (Thanks to those of you who purchased something!) I'm not attending that Big Synthesizer Festival in Berlin happening this week (maybe next year) but am planning to attend Dutch Modular Fest later this year.

Things are afoot with my modules, including the long-in-development XENOKINETICS. I'm aiming for the end of the year on that one. I also have another module that actually powered an art installation of mine that toured throughout Europe in 2025 and early 2026. Listen in to the clip to see if you can figure out what it does :)

Quanto Canto installation...can you guess what the new (in-development!) module, and which is used heavily in this piece, actually does?

But in the meantime, and in order to clear out some stock, I want to offer a discount on everything in the store--20% off until 31 of May! Use the code BONADEA to claim it at checkout.

I'm also developing some accessories for us modular types based on a new practice of mine...this last photo might give a hint. More on that next week. (If know what you're looking at and are asking, is she actually using those tools in the making of whatever this is, the answer is...yes.)

Not going to say much about this one until next week...

And finally! I have started a mailing list for all things selestium modular. We all know the messiness of these platforms, but they are also seemingly necessary. Yet it's also good to have some control over things, which is why I've started the mailing list. So if you want to receive regular updates about what's going on, and not be beholden to the almighty algorithm, please sign up! Link in bio.

That's it for now. For those of you at Superbooth, I hope you enjoy it! The rest of us will watch for the highlight videos.

Until soon, friends,

Adriana
